WELCOME
HYMN
Lord of all hopefulness,
Lord of all joy,
CONFESSION AND ABSOLUTION
THE COLLECT PRAYER
Lord of all life and
power,
who through the mighty
resurrection of thy Son
hast overcome the old order
of sin and death
to make all things new in
him:
grant that we, being dead
to sin
and alive to thee in Jesus
Christ,
may reign with him in
glory;
to whom with thee and the
Holy Spirit
be praise and honour, glory
and might, now and in all eternity.

Something Beautiful
Remains
William
The tide recedes behind
bright seashells on the sand.
The sun goes down but
gentle warmth
shall linger on the land.
The music stops but echoes
on in silent sweet refrains.
For everything that passes,
something beautiful
remains

Love and Go
On Jasper
You can shed tears that she
is gone,
Or you can smile because
she has lived.
You can close your eyes and
pray that she’ll come back,
Or you can open your eyes
and see all she’s left
Your heart can be empty
because you can’t see her
Or you can be full of the
love you shared.
You can turn your back on
tomorrow and live yesterday,
Or you can be happy for
tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember her only
that she is gone,
Or you can cherish her
memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your
mind,
be empty and turn your
back.
Or you can do what she’d
want:
smile, open your eyes, love
and go on.

She is not Gone
Robert
She is not gone,
She still lives in our
hearts,
She still breathes,
She still smiles in the
moonlight's silver,
She still speaks in the
echoes of words we've heard her say again and again.
She still moves in the
rhythm of waving grasses,
She is not gone;
She is not apart from us,
but part of us,
For love is eternal, and
those we love shall be with us throughout all
eternity Anon.
William Wordsworth
(only his is about his son…a Boy) Bill
I loved the Girl with the
utmost love of which my soul is capable, and she is taken from me – yet in the
agony of my spirit in surrendering such a treasure I feel immeasurably richer
than if I had never possessed it.
THE GOSPEL
Mary stood weeping outside Jesus’ tomb. As she wept, she bent
over to look into the tomb; and she saw two angels in white, sitting where the
body of Jesus had been lying, one at the head and the other at the feet. They
said to her, ‘Woman, why are you weeping?’ She said to them, ‘They have taken
away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid him.’4When
she had said this, she turned round and saw Jesus standing there, but she did
not know that it was Jesus.5Jesus
said to her, ‘Woman, why are you weeping? For whom are you looking?’ Supposing
him to be the gardener, she said to him, ‘Sir, if you have carried him away,
tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away.’ Jesus said to her,
‘Mary!’ She turned and said to him in Hebrew,*
‘Rabbouni!’ (which means Teacher). Jesus said to her, ‘Do not hold on to me,
because I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and say to
them, “I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.” ’
Mary Magdalene went and announced to the disciples, ‘I have seen the Lord’; and
she told them that he had said these things to her.

THE EUCHARISTIC PRAYER
COMMUNION
HYMN
Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
T'was Grace that taught my heart to fear.
Through many dangers, toils and snares
The Lord has promised good to me.
Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
When we've been here ten thousand years
BLESSING
God the Father by whose
glory Christ was raised from the dead, strengthen you to walk with him in his
risen life; and the blessing of God almighty, the Father , the Son and the Holy
Spirit, be with each one of you this day and into eternity. Amen.
